CICI Korea 2016 on-the-spot News
 

 CICI Korea 2016, organized by CICI, celebrated its 12th anniversary, which became a big issue even before the event actually took place.
 
Around 600 people including Korean and foreign entrepreneurs and diplomatic envoys had enlightened the event with their presence. As well, the popularity of the awardees added the heat as they are famous personages from all around the world.  
 

The VIP photo time took place with CHOI Jungwha, the president of CICI, the Korea Image awardees, and the VIPs.
 
CICI Korea 2016 commenced with reception cocktail, and the participants gathered at the reception place welcoming each other. 
 

The champagne MUMM, Perrier, and Seaweed snacks sponsored by Pernod Ricard Korea, CUC, and CJ CheilJedang respectively were provided during the reception.
 
CICI Korea 2016 started with the screening of 'A Little Song of Life' by Professor Oh Myung Hee. 
 

Then, CHOI Jungwha, the president of CICI delivered a greeting message to the guests.
 
Kim Jongdeok, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Na Kyung-won, Chairperson of the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee gave congratulatory remarks. 
 
After all the celebrating messages, the Korea Image Award ceremony took place.
 

The Korean Image Stepping Award was given to the Creativity of Hallyu and PSY received the award on behalf of it.
 

 Non-Summit Meeting panelists ‘Alberto Mondi’, ‘Guillaume Patry’, ‘Zhang Yuan’, ‘Tyler Rasch’were the recipients of the Korean Image Stepping Stone Bridge Award.
 

Lastly, Clara Jumi Kang, Violinist, was awarded the Korea Image Flower Stone Award.

After the award ceremony, H.E. John Prasetio, Indonesian Ambassador; Sohn Kyung-sik, CEO of CJ Group; James Bemowski, Vice Chairman of Doosan Corporation; H.E. Mark Lippert, U.S. Ambassador proposed toasts to congratulate CICI Korea 2016.
 

A fantastic dinner was prepared by the InterContinental Coex Hotel team; words cannot express enough how excellent the meal was! While enjoying the Korean traditional dinner, there was a screening of 'Record of Thousand Years' by Photographer Yang Hyun Moh.
 
Following the screening, the auction and lucky draw started with the auctioneer Rah Seung Yun, President of Oratio. 
 

Congratulations again to all the winners!
 

We appreciated the Five Drum Dance prepared by the National Dance Company of Korea. Guests were amazed by their powerful performance.
 

The last stage was the performance by violin solo of the Flower Stone Awardee, Clara Jumi Kang.
