Dear Korea CQ Members, On September 22, our members visited Min’s Kitchen, the modern Korean restaurant well known for its delicious Korean cuisine. Members experienced the passionate and delicious food prepared by Chef Kim Min ji. Chef Kim Min Ji studied at Basson in Netherlands. It was when she found out the true taste of Hansik that was the occasion made her to open her own restaurant. James Bemowski Vice Chairman of Doosan Corporation, Susanne Bemowski, Francois Provost CEO & Representative Director of Renault Samsung Motors Co.,Ltd., Johan Vandromme First Counsellor of EU delegation of the Repubilc of Korea, Didier Beltoise CEO of Cs, Kim Hyun Tae CEO of Ra Beauty Core, Oh Myung Hee, Professor of The University of Suwon, Choi Jungwha President of CICI attended. Members arrived to Min’s Kitchen earlier than the scheduled time and updated each other with their life stories. The dinner started with sweet Pumpkin Soup and Shrimp with Pine Nut Sauce. Then we all enjoyed Green-lentil jelly seasoned with sesame oil, and vegetable salmon wrap. When eating Salmon Wrap, Members had to use theirown hands and wrap it themselves. Chef Kim Min Ji specially made this salmon wrap to have fun while eating. In addition, we all enjoyed Min’s special fry, fresh gon-yak noodle. Zero calorie gon yak is very good food to keep body in shape. Gon yak noodle made all of us refreshing. Then roasted beef with shredded sesame leaf was served. Especially the sauce of roasted beef sticky rice was so fantastic that members all asked the ingredient of that sauce, but the chef said that the sauce is their top secret. After that, bibimbap was served. Min’s Kitchen had hand-made gochujang, so the taste of bibimbap was better. Dessert consisted of rice cake, strawberry, pancakes and tea. Min’s kitchen, selected as one of the restaurants of 2012 Gourmet, made our dinner much more fascinating with its quality food. We thank Chef Kim Min Ji for providing Korea CQ members a wonderful dinner and trying hard to boost the image of Hansik to foreigners.
