Korean Wave Festival 'KCON' sponsored by Amazon and AT&T Thanks to KCON, which started in Los Angeles in 2012 and has fanned out across the country in the years since, Americans are fast becoming familiar with one of Korea's pop culture juggernauts. On Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24, KCON came to the Prudential Center in Newark for the third year in a row. Food, fashion, beauty products, TV and film memorabilia was featured during the daytime convention, with over 120 merchants representing every aspect of Korean pop culture. |
