We recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit Hwadamsup in Gonjiam to see the autumn leaves! Hwadamsup is a place that was created with the wish that people will enjoy walking along nature while talking with each other friendlily. There were many things to see at Hwadamsup apart from the red leaves! From the 'Hwadamsong' tree that greeted us at the entrance, the 'moss garden' where around 30 different types of moss lives, the 'promise bridge' that crosses the stream, the unique 'white birch forest', the evergreen 'pine forest', the 'bunjae garden' where trees look like artworks, and more, there are a total of 16 different themed areas that captures your attention throughout the walk! There's also a monorail you can take to see these parts, so I hope to come back in Spring again. After the wonderful walk, we went to a nearby restaurant 'Gungtteul Bapsang' where we enjoyed a delicious lunch with mackerel. Hwadamsup is open until November 30th, so please go visit if you have the chance to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves! Let's see it together through the video!  |
