Why do we love France so much? This year, the annual Korea-France, France-Korea Clubs meeting was held in Paris. The Korea-France club was launched in 2016 in celebration of 130 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and opinion leaders from both Korea and France gather to discuss and find ways to further promote friendly relations. On the first day we arrived, we went to the Monnaie de Paris and also met the famous chef Guy Savoy who was at his Michelin 3-star restaurant in the same building. In the evening, the Korean Ambassador to France Dae Jong Yoo invited us to his residence and held a wonderful dinner. The official meeting started the next day at the Quai d'Orsay. The Korea-France club always holds these meetings to discuss global issues and interested between our two countries. This year we held 4 sessions, diplomatic&geopolitical, economic, energy&nuclear, and soft power&culture. It was the first face-to-face meeting in 3 years since COVID, and was filled with great insights from everyone. Afterwards we went to the Château Louise de La Vallière which has become a boutique hotel! Let's see together through the video.  |
