Recently I had the great opportunity to listen to a special lecture by Ki Kwang Sung, CEO of Dot, who was the first to develop a special technology that helps the visually impaired to access vast amounts of information through a special display!
The lecture was held at the Swiss Ambassador's residence, called the Swiss Hanok. The building was constructed with hanok features using wood from the Alps. It is a beautiful building that shows the harmony of our two countries, and it is also an eco-friendly building that generates and uses energy in various ways such as geothermal heat and solar power.
Through the lecture, Ki Kwang Sung showed how the company aims to make the world more accessible dot by dot for the 285 million visually impaired people around the world. His entrepreneurial spirit was admired by all attendees.
In particular, in this lecture, we learned about why he founded 'Dot', how the 'Dot Pixel' technology was developed, and how Dot's technology is changing the lives of the visually impaired. Dot won the Best Innovation Award at CES2023 for further improving the quality of life for the visually impaired!
Dot has won several technological innovation awards not only in the Americas but also in Europe and Asia!
Let's find out together through the video, shall we?
