세상을 바라보는 시선과 사유 과정을 공유하는 매개체인 사진 속으로 빨려들어갔답니다. '사진에 매혹되어 몰두한다'와 '사진 매체의 규범적인 조건을 넘어서고 저항한다'는 이중적인 의미를 가진 '사진에 反- 하다' 사진전에 다녀왔습니다. 빛은 사진의 영원한 주제물이고, 사진은 빛의 기록이란 말이 뇌리에서 떠나지 않는 시간이었답니다. 이번 전시에서 115점의 작품을 섹션으로 나누어 만나볼 수 있었는데요. 흑백, 블로우업, 버노그라피, 포토 몽타주 등 다양한 기법을 사용한 사진들을 보며 상상의 나래를 맘껏 펼 수 있었답니다. 황규태 작가의 사진은 세심한 감각과 독특한 구도로 인해 대중들의 높은 호응을 얻어왔습니다. 그의 사진 작품은 단순한 예술작품을 넘어 세상을 바라보는 독특한 시선과 사유의 과정을 공유할 수 있는 매개체로 작용합니다. 이번 고은 사진 미술관 전시에서는 황규태 작가의 대표작은 물론, 그 동안 공개되지 않았던 미공개 작품들도 만나볼 수 있었습니다. 특히 실험사진의 정수라고 할 수 있는 '픽셀' 시리즈를 가장 인상깊게 봤는데요, 영상을 통해 작품들을 같이 만나볼까요? Hwang Gyu-Tae is a pioneer of Korean avant-garde photography, and recently I had the opportunity to see his exhibition at the Goeun Museum of Photography. The title of this exhibition was 'Fall In/Against Photography', and we were able to see 115 of his works divided into sections. I was able to let my imagination run wild while looking at the photos that used various techniques such as black and white, blow-up, burography, and photo-montage. Hwang Gyu-tae's photography has been highly acclaimed for its meticulous sense and unique composition. His works go beyond mere works of art and act as a medium through which we can share a unique way of looking at the world. In this exhibition, we were able to see Hwang Gyu-tae's most famous works as well as previously unpublished works. In particular, I was most impressed with the 'Pixel' series, which were the peak of experimental photography.
