오랜만에 여름의 나라 싱가포르에 도착하니  크리스마스 트리가 있고  캐롤이 들려와 순간 "이건 뭐지?"   묘한(?) 기분도 잠시 한껏 들뜬 마음으로 맨발에(?) 가벼운 여름옷으로 장착하고 싱가포르를 누볐답니다. 

야자수 배경에 보인 큰 크리스마스 트리, 온통 하얀 장식들로 꾸며진 트리, 제가 가장 좋아하는 블루 컬러로 꾸며진 트리,  트리 전체가 백여개의 곰인형으로 만들어진 트리, 

심지어  애정하는 향수들의 이쁜 병과 체인으로 만들어진 트리와 미래 지향적인 느낌의 셀로판 트리까지!

싱가포르  사람들이 크리스마스에 대해 진심인 것을 가는 곳마다 느꼈답니다.

그리고 세상에서 가장 높은 브루어리라고 하는 Level 33이라는 루프탑 바도 가서 옛 친구인 어완도 만나고, 수제 맥주 샘플러도 맛보며 마리나 베이 샌즈 야경을 보며 시간가는 줄 모르게

얘기를 나누다 하루를 마쳤습니다.   숙소로 돌아가려 택시줄에 서서 기다리는데  어머머~  누구를 만난 줄 아세요?

I recently visited Singapore! When I arrived, I immediately saw a beautiful Christmas tree, as well as Christmas decorations everywhere so I was very excited. 

From a large tree with palm trees in the background, to a tree decorated fully in white, one with blue decorations which is my favorite color, a tree made of teddy bears, a tree made of perfume bottles and gold chains, and even a futuristic tree made of cellophane! 

I could really feel the passion Singaporean people had towards Christmas.

I also went to a rooftop bar, a place called Level 33 which was on the 33rd floor, and met my old friend Erwan, tasted the specialty beer, and ended the day viewing beautifully lit night of the Marina Bay Sands.
