세계인이 애정 하는 프랑스의 자랑, 샹보르 성을 다녀왔어요. 프랑스의 문화명소이자 르네상스시대의 대표적인 건축물인 샹보르 성은 파리에서 차로 한시간 반 정도 거리에 있어 당일치기도 가능하답니다. 도착하기 전에 잔다르크로 유명한 오를레앙에 잠깐 들러 대성당을 바라보니 예전의 기억이 새록새록 떠오르네요. 샹보르 성은 프랑수아 1세가 사냥을 한 후에 휴식을 취하기 위해 세웠다고 하는데요. 우선 성 내부를 보면 중앙 나선형 계단과 거대한 침실과 불멸을 상징하는 화려한 장식과 조각들, 또 성 외부의 주위 부속 건축물, 정원, 숲, 호수 등 그 규모와 위용을 볼 때 당시 왕의 힘이 얼마나 막강했는지 알 수 있네요. 내부를 찬찬히 둘러본 후 성을 둘러싸고 있는 광대한 숲이 펼쳐지는 파크를 SUV 를 타고 돌아보니 그 삼림의 규모에 놀랐고 호수 정원도 자그마치 12개나 있고 멧돼지와 사슴도 살고 있어 놀랐답니다. 그 유명한 프랑스의 고성 어떻게 생겼는지 궁금하시죠? 우리 영상에서 만나요~ During our trip to France, we visited the Château de Chambord! Only about an hour and a half away from Paris, the chateau is one of France's most well known cultural sites, being a very distinctive French Renaissance architecture. On the way to the chateau, we visited Orléans, the city of Joan of Arc. We took a look around, seeing the Orléans Cathedral, reminiscing of days in the past when we used to visit. The Chambord was built to act as a hunting lodge for King Francis I. The spectacular open double-spiral staircase, the elegant rooms and sculptures depicting eternal life, gardens, woods, lake, all show the power of the King at the time. After taking a tour inside the chateau, we went to see the woods surrounding it by car.
