Korea CQ had the Spring Welcoming Alumni Gathering & CQ 19 Opening Ceremony on February 24, 2015. Members participated are : H.E. Jerome Pasquier, H.E. Omar Nahar, H.E. Elisabeth Bertagnoli, H.E. French Ambassador H.E. Jerome Pasquier kindly invited our members to his resident for the gathering.
CQ members arrived on time and had time to catch up with a glass of champagne.
After watching a video on CICI Korea 2015 which ended with a great success back in January, H.E. Jerome Pasquier gave a congratulatory message and officially welcomed CQ members. We started alumni gathering in pleasant atmosphere. Before dinner, we shared our members’ good news and congratulated each other.
Delicious and unforgettable dinner was specially prepared in French buffet style, kindly organized by H.E. Jerome Pasquier.
As the dinner was coming to an end, we had time to introduce CQ 19 members and CQ members to each other.
At CQ Culture Night, we played the Korean traditional game ‘jegichagi’, which requires the use of people's foot and Jegi. CQ members made their own 'jegi' and played the game.
The winner, or the "king of Jegi" was Mr. Jae Chul Sung, with the most number of consecutive kicks.
The best dresser awards were given to Mr. Hakim Djaballah who wore yellow tie and pants and to H.E. Aingeal O’Donoghue who wore green jacket. Congratulations!
Then, we had lucky draw time. Once again, a big congratulations to all the lucky CQ members!
More importantly, we especially thank H.E. Jerome Pasquier for his warm hospitality from giving us an opportunity to have an unforgettable night at his venue to offering us to taste the wonderful French gastronomy. Also we greatly appreciate Crystal Park for her outstanding interpretation help. We also thank all members who were able to take their precious time to attend the Korea CQ Spring Welcoming Alumni Gathering & CQ 19 Opening Ceremony.
