Dear Korea CQ members,

On August 23th, the Korea CQ Autumn Welcoming Alumni Gathering & CQ 22 Opening was held at the luxury social venue Raum.

CQ members arrived at the reception on time and had time to catch up with each other with a glass of champagne.

The gathering started with a welcoming speech by President Jungwha Choi. After that, we watched a video on CICI activities to reflect on what we did during the term and pleasant memories shared with CQ alumni members.

Before dinner, all members congratulated Mrs. Yoon Joo Han with a song for her birthday and gave a surprise present.

The atmosphere warmed up with Mr. Bill Miner's pleasant toast and a delicious and unforgettable dinner was specially prepared in Western style, generously organized by The Raum.

As the dinner came to an end, we shared our members’ good news and congratulated each other.

The CQ culture time started, where we played K-Scattergories, and we could see our members' passion and affection through their active participation.

The team of Professor Susan Macdonald was the winner of the game.

After that, Korea CQ members showcased their hidden talent through Noraebang time. Mr. Kyung Sik Min were the first to start by performing ‘Words’. Professor Susan Macdonald sang ‘Sweet Dreams,’ Ms. Susan Ling sang ‘Yarehyang,’ H.E. Raul Hernandez sang ‘Just the Way You Are,’ Ms. Crystal Park sang ‘Lemon Tree,’ Ms. Jasmine Lee sang ‘Don't Go Away,’ and Ms. Yoon Young Kim drew the participation of all CQ members with a wonderful dancing performance.

H.E. Raul Hernandez received the Best Performer Award with 'The Way You Are' and Mrs. Patricia Munster received the Best Dresser Award of the night.

Last but not least, we had lucky draw time.
