CICI Korea 2014 on-the-spot News
On January 15 Wednesday, CICI
Korea 2014 was held at Harmony Ballroom at InterContinental Seoul COEX. Celebrating
its 10th anniversary, it became a big issue even before the event
actually took place.
Around 600 people including Korean and foreign enterprisers and diplomatic envoys had enlightened the event by their presence. And, the popularity of the awardees added the heat as they are famous figures all around the world.

The event was began with the first performance from the National Dance Company of National Theatre of Korea. The sound of Buk, Korean traditional drum, was as rich and full as the sound of horses’ hoof.
After the dynamic stage of the National Dance Company, CHOI Jungwha, the president of CICI delivered a greeting message to the guests.
The former prime minister, Han Seung-soo gave a celebrating message.
The vice-minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism gave a celebrating speech.
H.E. Sung KIM gave a celebrating speech for our CICI Korea 2014 event.
After all the celebrating messages, the Korea Image Award ceremony took place.
The Korean Image Stepping Award
was given to Samsung Galaxy Smartphone. As LEE Don-joo, the president of mobile
phone operations at Samsung Electronincs, received the award on behalf of Galaxy
Smartphone.
H.E. Fleur pellerin, the Korean-born
French Minister Delegate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Innovation and
the Digital Economy was the recipient for Korean Image Stepping Stone Bridge
Award and shared her message through video as she was not able to come to Korea
to receive the award in person due to her schedule conflicts.
Lastly, Youn-Sun Nah, Korean jazz
vocalist was awarded the Korean Image Flower Stone Award for her musical
achievements in Europe.
After the award ceremony, H.E. Peter Tan, the ambassador of Singaporean embassy, Jim Bemowski, the vice chairman of Doosan Corporation, Joong-hoon Park, movie director, Lee Jasmine, the member of the National Assembly, and Henri Loyrette, the former president of the Louvre Museum had toasts.
While enjoying the Korean traditional dinner, world-famous places such as Rock of Cashel in Island and Book Chon in Seoul were introduced through video clips. Following the dinner, we had the long-awaited lucky draw and auction. Congratulations again to all the winners!

Nah Youn-sun, the beloved jazz vocalist presented us her fascinating voice and everyone in the hall were amazed by her beautiful voice.
The last stage was made by the
team La Baie, which was a specially designed team for CICI korea 2014.
