There is a fierce battle between hotels in Seoul Jung-gu area. With more than 20% of the hotels in Seoul, new hotels are constantly entering the market, and the hotel industry 's' big war' is struggling to differentiate with unique concepts and packages. According to the Korea Hospitality Association on August 8, 88 of the 399 hotels in Seoul are located in Jung-gu, as of December last year. 22% of the hotels in Seoul are concentrated in the Jung-gu. Two new hotels open this month to the already saturated city of Seoul. On July 1, Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun opened in Euljiro, Jung-gu, and on July 19, Shinsegae Group's first independent brand hotel, 'Les Capes', will be showcased in Hoehyeon-dong. |
