Choi Jungwha, President of CICI wrote column 'Speak with your eyes! ... confident eye contact' was published in Munhwa Ilbo today, September 5th. In the article, she explains that Koreans tend not to stare directly into other peoples' eyes when conversing, especially when talking to elders, but ‘eye contact’ is important when talking to another person as you can know the person better when you look into their eyes.
