Dear Korea CQ Members, I hope you are having a great day. On April 17, Korea CQ had a lecture on 'Global Attention on the Korean Peninsula: Where will Korea go from here?' at the residence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Itaweon-dong. 
H.E. Bader Mohammad AlAwadi, H.E. Yip Wei Kiat, H.E. Peteris Vaivars, Rina Okumura-Vaivara, H.E. Chafik Rachadi, Du-hyeogn Cha, Amb. Park Sang-ki, Jinjoo Koo, James Park, Sean Blakeley, Francoise Lewalle, Kwon-ha Ryu, Hooran Kim, Mohammad Alhuwailah, Choi Jungwha, Didier Beltoise, Jun-suk Yeo, and Crystal Park attended the forum. Members arrived had time to catch up during the reception, and H.E. Bader Mohammad AlAwadi kindly showed us around his residence. 
The forum began with a warm welcome speech by H.E. Bader Mohammad AlAwadi, and members watched a promotional video of Kuwait, from which we could see the beautiful landmarks in Kuwait. 
Having traditional Kuwaiti food Gabout and Lamb Ouzi specially prepared for CQ members with exotic aroma of Kuwait surrounding the place, members felt as if they were in Kuwait. 
The lecture on 'Global Attention on the Korean Peninsula: Where will Korea go from here?' by Dr. Du-hyeogn Cha, a Visiting Scholar at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and former Research Fellow at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses , finally began after watching the videos of Korea CQ 25 programs and PyeongChang Olympics survey results. It was truly a meaningful time where the members could hear about the current progresses and prospects of the Korean peninsular, and the relationship between China and the United States. The members actively asked questions, and shared their opinions regarding the topic. We would like to thank Dr. Du-hyeogn Cha for the intriguing lecture, Ms. Crystal Park for her excellent interpretation, and all our Korea CQ members for gladly taking their time to attend our forum. Also, we express our heartfelt gratitude to H.E. Bader Mohammad AlAwadi for treating us with lovely traditional Kuwaiti dinner and preparing gifts for all our members.
